Calculus. A high-school student's worst nightmare. It creeps, on sleepless nights, with promises of brain-twisting questions, tear-stained textbooks, and hours of despair.
How do we begin to fight such a daunting foe?
In this book, we deviate from the traditional approach in which students robotically memorise accepted formulae-instead, we utilise the art of questioning to create an intuition and true understanding for Calculus. Starting with the basics, we do not assume, but rather hypothesise, investigate and prove the likes of the product rule and chain rule, as well as many common derivatives, from concepts we already know.
